Going on a glacier tour is one of the most popular activities for travellers in Iceland. Glaciers, one of the world’s most mysterious natural wonders, cover approximately 11% of the total land area of Iceland.
We are offering extra small group, personal glacier tours on the outlet glaciers of Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull. Vatnajökull alone covers more than 8% of Iceland, and at its thickest part is almost 1.000m. The meeting point for all of our tours is at Skaftafell Terminal Tour Center and our tours are conducted on Falljökull, Virkisjökull and Skeiðarájökull. Our tours are available all year round and are of different difficulty levels. We have shorter, easier family friendly tours as well as longer, more physically demanding tours for the thrill seekers. From 1st of April until 31st of October we offer glacier hiking and glacier adventure tours as well as ice climbing tours for private tours. During the winter months, from 1st of November until 31st of March, we have the same tours with the addition of ice cave tours.
