Payment policy

All prices are in Icelandic Krona. Prices are guaranteed after full payment has been made. All refunds are made in Icelandic Krona. If the exchange rate has fluctuated between the time of purchase and when the refund is issued this might result in either an increase or decrease in the total amount refunded in your local currency.

Weather and conditions

All our tours are dependent on weather and general conditions. Melrakki Adventures reserves the right to alter itineraries, departure times and or cancel your trip without prior notice with your safety in mind.

Cancellations

For public tours:
Cancellation received more than 24 hours prior to departure are fully refunded. Cancellation received less than 24 hours prior to departure will be charged full price.

For private tours:
Cancellations for private tours must be made with 72 hours prior to departure to be fully refunded, any cancellations made after that are non refundable.

Travel insurance

We recommend all our guests to have insurance. Each guest should buy trip or holiday cancellation insurance in addition to medical, personal and travel insurance.

Liability

The tours are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Melrakki Adventures holds no responsibility towards them if an accident occurs during a tour that can be traced to their own actions, actions of other participants on the tour or factors outside of human control.

Clothing

All guests should wear appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing. We reserve the right to refuse participation to customers who are dressed inappropriately or with inappropriate footwear since this will put the client’s well-being and safety at risk.

Alcohol and drugs

We receive the right to refuse participation to guests in any activities who we believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In such circumstances no refund shall be given.
